PUBLIC HEARING: TOLEDO WAREHOUSE DISTRICT OVERLAY PLAN
There will be a public hearing April 9, 4:30 pm, held at One S. St. Clair. Tom Gibbons from the City of Toledo will be presenting. If you own property in the Warehouse District, please make every effort to attend this meeting. The Overlay is an important document that will guide the development of the neighborhood in the future. We want your input and questions! Our neighborhood has been all over the news lately. March 23rd is Volunteer Day 2013 and we are teaming up with the University of Toledo to clean up our neighborhood! The clean-up is 11am to 3pm. Please rsvp here with the time you are available. If you want to be teamed with others, please indicate their names. If you have events that you would like us to share, please send them to us at toledowarehouse419@gmail.org. This public hearing has been called by the City of Toledo, Zoning and Planning Committee of Council on the 2012 Toledo Warehouse District Plan as an amendment to the 20/20 Plan.
The purpose of these meetings is to hear the public’s opinions and comments on the Warehouse District Plan. You are the public, so let your voice be heard!
In November, the Toledo Warehouse District Plan was presented on two occasions by Tom Gibbons and Bob Seyfang. TWDA supports this plan and we encourage your presence at these meetings. A large showing of neighborhood constituents will demonstrate our advocacy. Hope to see you there!

CALLING ALL SERIOUS ARTISTS!Toledo Pride is at all time high, and we love it! We especially love our little nook in downtown, THE TOLEDO WAREHOUSE DISTRICT! We are proud and want to show it! That is where you come in!We are looking for a cool, unique design to represent our District! The winning design would be used on all kinds of Warehouse District merchandise – t-shirts, mugs, etc.! Your design should reflect the “cool factor” of the District! Best of all, there is a $419 cash prize for the winner!A committee will narrow down the submissions, and there will be a vote on Facebook to decide the final winner. We encourage you to submit your “cool and unique design!” |
SPECIFICS: Artwork can be emailed to toledowarehouse419 in any of the following formats (compress if necessary): a. Jpeg Artwork may not exceed 10 MB. Please include your name, email, address and phone number in your email. DEADLINE: January 31st. RULES: 1. You may submit as many designs as you like. 2. Your design must be original and your own. 3.
