The TWDA has received two inquiries for available space in our neighborhood. Please review the information below and reply to this email if you have or know of any space available downtown.
1. A Crossfit gym is moving locations and wants to stay downtown. The space needs to have at least 20 ft ceilings, 3,500 sq ft and concrete floors.
2. A group of artists are looking for an open space, very industrial, one bathroom is fine. They are artists, so condo or apt living isn’t a good fit. The more industrial the better.

| Thank you to the Standard Lofts for hosting our breakfast meeting on February 21st and also providing us with tour of the lofts.
Board of Directors meeting summary: 1. Announced change of fee structure for homeowner associations. In order to encourage more membership, TWDA will allow a homeowner to join at a reduced rate of $25 (vs. $50 for regular) if their HOA is a member of the TWDA. Thus the "friend rate" will be eliminated. 2. The board is looking to develop a "Welcome Passport" for new residents of the Warehouse District. It would include coupons, discounts, and helpful information. If you have ideas, or have a business that would be willing to assist in this process. Contact Bridget Townley. 3. Another goal is to provide outdoor artwork and bike racks: working with the Arts Commission for installations.
WAREHOUSE DISTRICT SIGNAGE Here is the information regarding TWDA signage. Non-customized plaque: "This Building is Part of Toledo’s Historic Warehouse District." The dimensions are 12 x 20 x 3/8. The price for the first plaque is $92.97 and the price for all others will be $69.73. Shipping will cost between $10-15 per piece. Customized:"This Building is Part of Toledo’s Historic Warehouse District (plus business name)."The base price is $161.79. Then add $.84 per letter for the business name. Add shipping. | We had a great breakfast meeting on the 17th of January! Here are some of the things we talked about.
Introduction of Board of Directors:
1. Board met January 10, 2012 to review bylaws and vote on officer positions. Trustees will hold two year terms. Association will vote to add two more board members for 2013 year, increasing board from 7 to 9 members. In addition, the board voted to change membership renewal dates to calendar year. 2. Bob Seyfang discussed progress of overlay committee. Looking at a May or June completion date. Committee will work with the board before details are finalized. Bob also presented visionary plans for boutique hotels created by BGSU architectural students for the parking area between Washington and Huron Streets.
